About Carlos Pena Yoga

A Yogic lifestyle can make us become more balanced, joyful and healthier individuals. Helping others improve their lives through Yoga — as it has improved mine — is my greatest delight and motivation.

Despite its growing popularity as a great exercise, yoga is a spiritual path that helps us unite mind, body and spirit. The very word ‘yoga’ precisely translates into ‘union’, as the practice was originally intended to help us connect with our Higher Selves.

As a modern society we focus mainly on the pursuit of success, accomplishments and wealth. We place very little attention to developing our emotional and spiritual well-being.

It is no surprise, then, that our understanding of yoga is broadly based on the physical aspect, with virtually no regards to its very spirituality.

It is my intention to help others make that connection; help others understand that through asanas, meditation and other yogic practices we can live more joyful, balanced and happier lives.
